SERVICES: Intelligent K9 Training (the “Trainer”) shall provide dog training services and equipment to Client pursuant to the program and on the terms set forth under Training Program/Terms. The Training Program shall include instruction to Client on the use of the equipment and methods of training the pet. A portion of the Program may be conducted in small groups and in different locations exposing the Pet to other animals and distractions.

INTELLIGENT K9 POLICIES

Service Agreement, Waiver of Liability, and Assumption of Risk and Release

SCHEDULING: All training must be prepaid.  All training sessions are scheduled by appointment and Client is responsible for contacting Trainer to schedule such sessions. Trainer’s telephone number is (858) 859-0677.

RESCHEDULING: Due to increased demand and limited availability, we respectfully require a minimum of seventy-two (72) hours notice to cancel or reschedule any appointment.  When an appointment is missed or cancelled without ample notice, we, at Intelligent K9, miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive our services within that block of time.

We will attempt to reach out to remind clients of scheduled appointments by phone and/or text approximately 72 hours prior to each scheduled appointment. If no confirmation communication is received 72 hours prior to the start of scheduled appointment, we reserve the right to reschedule that appointment at our discretion. Any appointment rescheduled by Trainer may be rescheduled and fulfilled as Trainer and Client’s schedules allow.

Because appointments are limited our Cancellation and No-Show Policy will be strictly enforced.

- Any missed or no-show to an appointment will result training program being reduced by one session.
- Any appointment cancelled or rescheduled with less than seventy-two (72) hours of the scheduled start of the appointment time will result in training program being reduced by one session.
- If sessions are deducted from program, remaining sessions will continue in sequence.
- Appointments can be made-up or added to existing program at the rate of $150 per session.

- Each appointment counted as a loss will be deemed fulfilled by Intelligent K9 and will be subtracted from the total of remainder lessons/etc as described within the client’s service agreement.

Our appointments book up quickly and there is usually a wait period for scheduling consultations and training, therefore it is unfair to our clients and dogs who are often in desperate need of a consultation, immediate intervention, and/or training to have to wait (sometimes for several weeks/months), when clients who have those time slots cancel within 72 hours or are "no-shows”.

Thank you for understanding and respecting what we love doing most - serving you!

Note:  The primary trainer may, at his/her sole discretion, make exceptions to this policy.

POSTPONEMENT: Lessons: During training, if you choose to postpone your lessons, your remaining sessions will be good for a 6-month period from the time we receive written notice sent to support@intelligentk9training.com.  Any sessions remaining after six (6) months will expire. Expired sessions will be deemed fulfilled by Intelligent K9 and will be subtracted from the total of remainder sessions/etc as described within the client’s service agreement.

JumpStart/Board & Train Programs: We respectfully require a minimum of (30) days notice prior to the start of your JumpStart Camp and Board & Train programs to reschedule which allows us time to fill the timeslot. Please know that rescheduling could result in significant delays since programs are typically scheduled several weeks/month in advance.
